Method
Prep your Aeropress – Pop in a filter and give it a quick rinse with water. This keeps things clean and smooth.
Go inverted – Set your Aeropress upside-down (inverted) to avoid drips while brewing.
Add coffee – Scoop your favorite grounds into the brew chamber.
Zero your scales – Place the Aeropress on your scales and reset to 0.
Start brewing – Hit the timer and pour in 100g of water.
Stir it up – Gently stir 5 times to make sure every ground is happy and wet.
Top it off – Pour in another 150g of water, then add the cap.
Brew time – Let it sit until your timer reads 1:30.
Press and enjoy – Flip the Aeropress onto your cup and press down firmly. Aim for about 30 seconds:
If it’s slower, your grind is too fine.
If it’s quicker, your grind is too coarse.
Sip victory – You’ve just made an Aeropress masterpiece. Cheers!
